BrewDog: Jet Black Heart
May. 28th, 2017 10:03 pmI happened to spy a set of different BrewDog beers in Tesco the other day, and so thought I'd give them a try. BrewDog do interesting ales (their claim to fame is creating the ludicrously strong 32%-ABV Tactical Nuclear Penguin), and having done a mega cleanup I thought I'd reward myself with one of them:

So, the 4.7%-ABV Jet Black Heart. It claims to be an oatmeal milk stout which is not a beer I've ever tried before (part of why it caught my eye), and comes with a rather flowery description:
This black hearted beast is chopped, tuned and ready to roll. A smooth talking renegade to ravage your senses... The black cat that got the cream... Ride into the inky abyss with the black clad outrider...
Tastes, hmm... I'm not sure. Perhaps a bit like an espresso? Interesting, but not one for me I think.
