Fun with liquid nitrogen

I see someone's having fun with the university's liquid nitrogen tank.

At a guess, someone is drawing off some liquid nitrogen for something. What you're seeing are probably clouds of water vapour (remember that liquid N2 is a fair way below freezing), a bit like fog.

is that at Sussex Uni? I remember when i went to a summer school uni at Sussex and this man poured lots of Nitrogen out of a cylinder thing, and he got it all on the floor :S
