Red 1468! It's a roll of Kodak Gold 200-6, and another of the Brighton films. This one consists almost entirely of photos from Ditchling Beacon... but before that, have a slice of fail from the Brighton House.
See,
pewterfish had a glass that he wanted to clean... and he decided to do so by pouring boiling water into it. Someone (possibly me?) spotted him doing that and pointed out how doing so was a bad idea, so he attempted to correct things by turning the cold tap on...

Turns out that while the glass could survive some boiling water, it could not survive the subsequent thermal shock from being flooded with cold water. I recall being a bit surprised by the glass not shattering but merely neatly cracking into three pieces. I've no idea why I used a film camera to capture the aftermath - perhaps the digital one had flat batteries?
Anyway the rest of the photos are from an outing to Ditchling Beacon by myself and
pleaseremove - we spent a successful day geocaching up there, finding two traditionals and a multicache. The multicache had one stage which involved decoding a set of coloured beads on a string and converting the colours to numbers using snooker point values, which neither of us knew - looking it up online while in the middle of nowhere might seem trivial these days, but this was back in early 2007 before Android or iPhones were common. As it happened
pleaseremove had recently got a Windows Mobile smartphone and so we could get at Wikipedia while standing on top of a Sussex hill!

It was indeed a very steep drop behind this sign, as
pleaseremove demonstrated...
