Are you wearing a poppy?

Normally around this time of year you would see lots of people wearing poppies. So why is it that hardly anyone seems to be wearing them this year?

My poppy keeps falling off. I just lost my second today. It's gotta be somewhere around my desk.

My mom is collecting lost poppies at work. Her collection is almost at 10 now.

In the States, we wear Forget-Me-Nots for Veterans' Day. Or, rather, veterans collecting money in the streets pass out Forget-Me-Nots around this time. Very few people wear them in any practical sense--most people just put them on their car visors because that's where they donated from.
