The Programmer

[torkell]

Sitting at his desk, illuminated only by the glow from the screen, the programmer works.

Scattered around him are books, disks, boxes, and dead computer shells.

The programmer is oblivious to all else, he is concentrating only on the code.

Lost in thought, he is thinking only of his next program.

The computer hums softly, the lights glow gently.

Suddenly he rests his hands on the keyboard.

And the code flew from his fingertips.

As a programmer, I like to find myself illuminated by a desk lamp. :-)

And I know the feeling; though I'm never 100% concentrated on my code. That'd defeat my ability to multitask. :-P
