Advent 2018, day 1

My surprising sister elemnar has surprised me. I was expecting an advent calendar full of tea - that's what last years' was, and has become the unofficial family tradition. But as with all our family traditions they last until we realise they've become a tradition and then do something completely different.

So yesterday on Sunday 2nd we exchanged calendars (I'm writing this post on the 3rd, despite the date shown). Hers, as she has now discovered, is full of tea and other random surprises, while mine...



...turns out to be a surprise chocolate calendar! The surprise is it's an origami chocolate calendar...



...and the first creation is a Santa hat, to get into the festive mood.
