torkellToday's random bit of trivia (brought to you by the rumour mill regarding $BUYER borging $WORK) is that on the stock exchange, the 4-letter ticker code for a company doesn't actually have to be related to the name of the company. Hence while a lot is still unknown, we do know what the new ticker code will be and it's one of those wonderful "surely someone's already thought of it, right?" names.
As to the rest of the buyout, well the official news from on high has gone quiet while senior management works out just what the result will look like. On the other hand the tea-leaves and super-sekrit-squirrel rumour mill are still producing results, which generally sound positive for the team I'm in, so it should all be good.
