torkellI stil can't quite get my head round how far some of the walks I do are. Today's was a 10.5 mile walk, which was planned to be about two-thirds of that but I ended up taking a detour when a herd of cows decided to block the path. It doesn't feel like I walked that far though, and I feel like I could have kept going for a fair bit longer.
Maybe I'm just getting used to it - when I was in Brighton I didn't really do much long-distance walking. It's only since I've moved to Fareham, and really only in the past year or so, that I've started regularly walking long distances.
