(no subject)

It is properly windy out there tonight. Normally the really windy weather doesn't make it as far as Fareham, but this time it's managed to do so with a vengeance. The shipping forecast is predicting as high as a force 10 gale for the Solent, and I can believe it - the current windspeed there is a force 6 gusting force 9! Getting a reading for Fareham is a bit tricker, but nearby Titchfield Common shows gusts of around force 6 or so. Time to batten down the hatches...

It doesn't help that someone in one of the other flats has overfilled one of the bins (by trying to put something too big on top of everything else so it no longer closes). I can hear the rustling of the bags and banging of the lid from here. Hopefully it won't empty itself overnight!
