Apr. 5th, 2013 07:52 pmWhoever it was at National Rail that decided to put the date in inverse colouring ( white-on-black , instead of the normal black-on-white) for tickets *not* valid on the day they're printed is an absolute genius. That simple difference meant I spotted that I'd misbooked my train ticket as soon as I got it out of the ticket machine, not later on the train when I wouldn't have been able to do anything about it.
Now all I need to do is work out how to get a refund for the misbooked ticket...
