(no subject)

An update on my grandmother: she's been steadily improving, and is now spending more and more time out of the hospital bed (even if it's only in a chair next to the bed). She's also managed to swallow some foods again - apparently the hospital has some food additive they can use to turn anything into a sort of thick soup. There's still the big problem of her left side generally not working, but that's not stopped her plotting how to completely revamp the local NHS system!

Now to write and post the next postcard to her - a while back I bought a book of short story postcards from Waterstones, and I've finally found a use for them. All I have to do is think of what to say in each postcard...
