Jan. 15th, 2009 06:03 pmThe amusement of the day was a short brownout in the mains supply. In the office we heard a loud *thunk* from somewhere in the depths of the building, followed by the howl of one of the servers in the cold room rebooting (rack-mount servers have a *lot* of fans). Elsewhere was less lucky - apparently the old lab is very spooky when the lights go out and all the fans stop.
