pleaseremove managed to find a 64-bit Vista driver for a SATA controller that came as a self-extracting-to-floppy-disk exe. And, seeing as he only had one dead floppy disk, he asked me to unpack it for him and send him the files.
I'm rather impressed that the ancient disk I picked (at least 16 years old according to file timestamps) was still perfectly readable. That's more than I can say for my Age of Emipres discs, which have detoriated after less than 10 years.
