torkellCripes, RS-232 synchronisation with a Palm is slooooow when it's the first sync after reinstalling the desktop software. Must be to do with backing up the 4 meg worth of eBooks on it (of which more than one is over 600kB).
That's one of the things you don't realise until you do a major system reinstall (or, in this case, OS upgrade) - just how much stuff you install and use.
Hmm, that's a point - I'll need to hunt down the software for my phone as well.
