torkellWork is having a snow day - the boss texted yesterday evening to say "it's pretty tricky on the roads around there so don't try to come to work in the morning!" - so I went for a stroll with camera in hand...
These daffodils were planted to mark the 2012 London Olympics:
It's a bit hard to make out, but there's a group sledging on the hill across the creek:
And yes, that is ice in the water at the bank.
Not that this little bird seemed perturbed by it:
You might struggle to bail this dinghy out!
