torkellIf you used one of the self-checkouts at the Fareham Tesco at, oh, about 10pm today, and you're wondering where your bank card is... well, you left it in the pin pad. Tesco staff now have it.
The staff weren't even remotely surprised when I pointed out the card to them. It seems their self-checkouts have a glitch where sometimes they'll print out the receipt and tell you to take your bags before you've taken your card out of the pin pad. And we all know what the general public is like for blindly following instructions... (there is a reason why ATMs don't give you your money until you've taken your card back).
