Leith Hill
Jan. 7th, 2005 09:22 pmThe sun shone down upon the tower of Leith Hill.
From the top of the tower, one could see for miles. The view was amazing.
Having climbed the spiral staircase, the artist took a moment to pause and to look around at the rolling landscape of the downs.
Gazing out, she saw the view she wanted.
Setting up her easel, she began to draw. Slowly at first, but gathering speed as the trees unfolded themselves on the paper in front of her.
Amid the gentle sound of birdsong, the artist painted.
