'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves did gyre and gimble in the wabe

I would have some sympathy for you, but I have exhausted all my energy today trying to get two computers to work, with one it was my fault it didn't work (which reminds me, they should mark which way up IDE cables should go. Manufactures seem to have forgotten that there are lugs on the connector! ) The other machine (if I can call it that) should be dismembered. It seems to have a list of different errors stored and just randomly picks one on boot. It crashed at different points during boot, it sometimes crashed during scandisk, sometimes not. Then there was the saga of the startup folders, sometimes there was crap in it and other times not. It used to like to turn the screen off….because it could? And yet this morning it worked fine and I was watching a DVD on it, anyway, it wont last long, if feel an fdisk moment coming on
