Today's was coming out of a car park in Southampton and rather than the usual scraping sound was an impressive-sounding thunk, presumably from whacking the sump or part of the exhaust on a not-so-dropped kerb. Eh, it seemed fine driving back and I haven't dented the bodywork or 'acquired' any new paint.
