$work has a name!

The uncontainable excitement is now over: $work has a new name. Since it's actually quite hard to find a new company name these days (a mix of trying to find a name that doesn't mean something offensive in some random language, and most of the better names being already taken), instead of being something obvious like "Microsoft" or even "Apple" we're called something hard-to-pronounce. Such is modern multinational company life.

No, I'm not telling you what we're actually called. I like to at least keep my illusion of pseudo-anonymity here.

Anyway, being in a remote office the official presentation was done by teleconference. One of the unexpected benefits of teleconferences is you don't have to try and keep a straight face while marketing explain how $name was inspired by $word and how it all represents life, the universe and everything.
