Crowdsourcing snow

Interesting application of crowdsourcing by the Met Office: they're asking UK residents to submit their own snow measurements, and have put together a map with the results.

As a result I can tell that talismancer, who lives about 45 miles along the coast from me, should have a good foot or so of snow to enjoy. Lucky git.
