It's amazing how similar a ')' (closing bracket) and a '}' (closing curly brace) are in fonts like, to pick an example out of thin air, the one used by Eclipse. And it's amazing how unhelpful the error messages are from, to pick another random example, my phone's WAP browser.

Of course, none of the WML validators actually bothered to check for this, let alone mention the possibility that this may cause hard-to-find errors.

I've finally gotten sound to adding some more features to the wap-livejournal gateway i coded up a while back. It now supports saving the login details in a bookmark, which is handy as my phone doesnt believe in cookies. More tinkering with my wap to lj gateway

Well, that sort-of worked. I should add some sort of tracking to make it behave if you go back to a previous 'block'.

I also need to make it handle whatever my phone uses for a new paragraph better. I can't actually edit that last post, as something strange has happened to the encoding. Can't delete it either. Weird.
