Sod. The backlight on an old laptop I'm planning on turning into a webserver has just this minute given out on me.

Which means that I'm going to have to try to get some sort of remote access going without being able to see what I'm doing. Good job I got the null modem link setup.

*thinks*

*closes and reopens lid*

Hmm, that got the backlight going, but it's flickering a lot. Now to quickly get telnet going, so I've got at least some access.

*clickety-click, clickclickclick "NTLM failed, clear-text auth disabled", ponderponderponder, ah-hah!, clickclick-click-clickety-click, clickety-click "Welcome to Microsoft Telnet Server"*

That's sorted. Right, I should be able to install VNC server and then possibly stunnel.
