Oddly enough it's the older computers I've used that fall over at the slightest power glitch. An old 386 or 486 would reboot given even a momentary flicker of the lights, while the current rig doesn't care about the occassional several-second brownouts here. Then again the current rig has a much better (and very overrated) power supply with a universal input.
