I think the pornographers will end up winning that race, especially now they're a) filming in HD (which needs stupidly large amounts of space), and b) probably taking photos in RAW mode (which also uses stupidly large amounts of space). Ass to that the fact that hard disk manufacturers have basically run out of space at the moment, pending a technology breakthrough, and it's not hard to see why NAS systems are becoming popular.

Thinking about things, I do somewhere have a complete set of DOS 6.22 and Windows 3.11 install disks. Perhaps I should frame them and mount them on my wall, as a testament to past times.
