Date: 2006-10-30 05:15 am (UTC)1) The sky color gets much lighter towards the horizon. This'll add depth.
2) The ground/plants details are big close up, and finer far away. Try using different brush sizes.
2b) optional: work from far to near so your "nearer" brushstrokes (plants) will be in front of the farther ones.
3) Put in a happy little bush or something for a focal point =)
3b) If you really think you're hopeless at depicting something, put in a little river.
