Is it not? Did you find the "hidden" message on the website yet? I think the neuro-linguistic programming schtuff is interesting.. especially with Adam and his cute, clinky brain-spike thing
Uh, UNIT, Geocomtex, Whoisdoctorwho and I believe there's two Badwolfy domains registered to the BBC both with the same content, but different headings in the title bar. Did I miss anything?
Didn't know that there were two bad wolf domains (I only know of http://www.badwolf.org.uk/), but I've found the rest. Full credit to the beeb for doing this.
Yeah the BBC's webteam rocks, even if their grammar is rather terrible. I expect they are laughing at us for making so much of it all.. Like the Doctor said: the Bad Wolf will probably turn out to be a coincidence. http://www.bad-wolf.co.uk is the same, it just has "The secret is just about to be revealed.. But not yet" at the top. I've not bothered nosing through the source or anything though. Oh, icon feef!! That took me all of five minutes in Photoshop that did!
The terrible grammer is probably deliberate, at least on whoisdoctorwho. Looking at the source to bad-wolf.co.uk, it's just a frame-based redirect to badwolf.org.uk, so the content will be identical. Sorry, but I couldn't resist posting the "The Bad Wolf is not real", and seeing how many people got the reference. I've always liked the BBC, as they can do things that others can't due to how they're funded - for example, Doctor Who Confidential is available to watch from their website. Hey, I did credit you for the icon! Anyway, I'm lacking in PhotoPaint on the laptop (need to get round to installing that and CorelDraw), so my icon-making skills are on standby. Nice icon though. Would suggest maybe shifting the whole thing to the left a bit, so you get both eyes and more of the detail from the wolf in.
Apparently since Boom Town aired, searching and general interest in Bad Wolf has sky-rocketed. It's a bit worrying that all these people never noticed it before. Yeah I figured in WIDW it would deliberate.. 'cause Ricky the Idiot, but it crops up in the other sites as well, which is weird because I would have thought they would get things proof-read before they uploaded them. I suppose the other sites could be deliberate as well, Geocomtex looks like it was make by a five year old and that's supposed to be the company that owns the Internet. UNIT's site is fairly snazzy though.
Ah, but I don't have any icon making skillz! I don't like things to be centered really, I'm odd like that. Did you mean like this? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v220/Ptristan/badwolfcopy.jpg I think the first one is better, although it might be more cohesive with the wolf on the left and moon on the right now that I'm thinking of it.
Well, it's been a lot more subtle in the others. Boom Town did kinda go "look, Bad Wolf" in six foot tall flashing neon lights.
No, I just meant less of the moon and more of the wolf, as all you really see of the wolf in your current one is the mouth and nose. The one with the wolf centered is also pretty good, but you might want to save these as PNGs (that gets rid of the jpeg artifacts, like the line between the picture and the dark blue bit with the text).
There's supposed to be less wolf and more moon, it's symbolic :| I could save em as pngs, but I use jpeg more out of habit than anything else for icons, although when I'm scanning stuff I find that jpeg has a better quality to size ratio than png. *adds an I r teh graphix n00b disclaimer*
Here - http://www.badwolf.org.uk/disclaimer.html If you highlight the space between ""The Bad Wolf is not real. The Bad Wolf is not real. The Bad Wolf is not real."" and "BAD WOLF | CLUES | THEORIES | REVELATIONS | DOCTOR WHO" I dunno what it means, but it's a bit creepy.

Well, obviously, as PNG is lossless and JPEG is lossy.
