Random film time!
Random film time! Today's film is... "BJ010859", and it's an old one with photos from several holidays and trips, including Christmas in Falmouth. It's no newer than 1999 and probably quite a bit older than that based on what size
elemnar is in the photos! Back then I was using a point'n'shoot 35mm camera - a Canon Snappy LXII.
It's another Boots film, this time with a DX code of 018494 which reveals it to actually be an Agfa Perutz SC 400-2 Color film. Hmm... let's try preset Agfacolor XRG/XRS 400 with 3% white/black points (it's not like I'm doing this for archive purposes and trying for a perfect scan).
A random ruin. Possibly Bramber Castle - it's the sort of place that we'd go to for a family picnic when myself and
elemnar were growing up.

Christmas in Falmouth. My grandparents used to live in Falmouth and we'd usually visit a couple of times a year.

Looking out the front of the grandparents' house in Falmouth. The house was on the hill behind the high street and had a wonderful view of the harbour. Here I'm looking towards Pendennis Head, with the swimming pool on the headland (the glass-roofed structure) and the docks to the left.

Now looking straight ahead, the docks are on the right. The River Fal continues in the distance to the left - in summer, you can get a ferry from Falmouth all the way upriver to Truro. To the left is Flushing, and in the distance is the headland leading to St Mawes.

Stonehenge! We usually took the A303 to get to Cornwall, and seeing the henge through the morning mist was one of the landmarks along the way.

Another holiday! I have absolutely no idea where this is, or indeed if this is where we stayed or somewhere we visited.

The same place, looking to the right.
