As some of you may know, I got given Lego Mindstorms NXT for my birthday.

At around the same time, Dan bought a rubber band gun, and a couple of trigger assemblies.

The result is this:


(actual pictures of contraption to follow when I've managed to get the pictures off the camera. A pre-Mass Storage Device smartmedia reader and a version of the camera software designed for Windows 95 are not helping this.)

The Sonar sound effect from the original Red Alert is pretty good - I use it to notify me of emails amongst other things. If you can't be bothered to rip it yourself, I've got the copy that came with the Win95 Themes.
