Didn't spot they were by the same artist, merely that the strings played the same tune in both. Makes sense now that I spot that.
Another fun one I spotted is that the Lost Woods theme from Zelda, when played on a violin, has a moment when it sounds almost exactly like part of the soundtrack to the original Charlie in the Chocolate Factory.
Williams does all of Spielberg's scores, and did the original Potter film but I think others have done the subsequent ones, stealing his themes. Much as the guy who score Superman Returns did - people like pinching John Williams' stuff.
