torkell | Today's driving surprise

Today's driving surprise was discovering that half the lights are out on the crazyabout. Specifically, the lights that control the lane that goes through the middle of it. This made navigating it more than a bit tricky, as the traffic on the A32 hurtles through the middle and to the east and I had to try and merge with that on the normal exit from the roundabout.

Rumour has it that these are the only lights in the county with UPS (precisely to prevent this chaos from happening). It doesn't seem to have helped them today!
