So because I still haven't fixed the graphics card, I'm currently sat in front of Aether (my laptop). But to access some of the stuff on Nyx (the desktop) I've got a remote desktop session running in the background.
This gets confusing when a RSS post or email or something appears on Nyx, as thanks to the magic of remote desktop the "bing-bong" sound is actually played out of Aether. I'm then momentarily puzzled as to why nothing on Aether is showing any updates.
