Something seems to have happened at the local Tesco's - the police have cordoned off the entrance, and a couple of fire engines have just turned up as well. At the moment the police seem to be just wandering around outside talking to a few people, so hopefully it's nothing major.
Update: we now have a paramedic, an ambulance, and an Incident Response Unit. And I can now see someone getting kitted up with climbing gear of all things.
Update 2: the local news reports that there's someone on the roof of Tesco's. That explains the climbing gear and the fire engine ladder platform.
I hope they manage to get her down safe and sound.
Update 3: she came down unharmed, thankfully.
