Well, that seems to have fixed some of the errors in the grammar. Unfortuantly, it's not fixed all of them.
Re-arranging the grammar to actually permit what I wanted it to do has changed the error from "Syntax error at character 56 in input file" to "Syntax error". Helpful, I think not.
