Useful Ion Cannon tactic #47:
Dropping the ion cannon right in the middle of half a dozen tightly clumped cyborgs, who came out better off after a skirmish between 10 cyborgs, a devil's tounge, 5 hover MRLS and a bunch of random infantry.
I just happened to have one fully charged, and 'twas worth it just for the outburst from Dan upon seeing his cyborgs turn into a puff of smoke.
