Summer

Summer seems to have finally arrived! Even at 9pm it's still light and (just about) warm enough to sit outside on my balcony eating a pizza and watching the odd walker or cyclist head past as the tide ebbs out.

It's not going to last - nice, warm weather never does in Britain, except when it's too hot and there are hosepipe bans everywhere. But that's the great British weather for you.
